More and more cities have introduced bylaws, ordinances or policies designed to recover the costs of responding to false dispatches. The following bylaw information are as current and as accurate as possible. If you have more information on any of these bylaws below, see a mistake or know of bylaws not listed below, please CONTACT US

In some cities, police departments require all burglar alarm signals to be visually verified by a private citizen or their designee, such as a security guard, before police will respond. The electronic security industry considers these non-response policies drastic and ill advised. They have the potential to leave citizens, their homes and their businesses vulnerable to criminal acts.

A better approach  is one zone alarms will have to be verified as an unauthorized access by the alarm company, eyewitness or electronic monitoring system before police will respond. (one zone alarm mean alarm generated by only one sensor , what could be defective or to sensitive)
The police will continue to attend hold-up, panic, multi-zone, glass breaks and two way voice alarms as well as school alarms and identified residences occupied by seniors or individuals with special needs.
