OMN-RCV3
OMN-DCT1 OMN-DCT2
OMN-PMD1 OMN-RCT1
| 433MHz Wireless System |
| The Omnia wireless system can be installed anywhere
on the 4-wire communication bus (Spectra) or communication
network (Digiplex/DigiplexNE). Using the latest in RF
technology, Omnia's encrypted wireless communication protocol and
code-hopping technology ensure greater reliability and signal
reception. With these great features, Omnia is an economical and
ideal way to add wireless capabilities to your Spectra, Digiplex
or DigiplexNE system. |

Full Supervision
The OMN-RCV3 can supervise the tamper, low battery, and check-in
status of each motion detector and door contact through the
control panel. If a supervision problem arises, a “trouble”
message will appear on the keypad and a report code can be sent to
the central monitoring station.
The wireless receiver module waits for the transmitters to send a
check-in status signal within a specified time interval to confirm
their presence and functionality. The check-in status can be
verified every 12 hours, 6 hours, 12 minutes or 6 minutes. For the
highest security, select the shortest check-in time interval.
Selecting the longest check-in time interval consumes the least
amount of battery power.
Code-Hopping Technology
This feature changes the code sent to the OMN-RCV3 by the
motion detectors, door contacts and remote controls after every
transmission, thereby ensuring greater security.
Remote Controls
Omnia can support up to 8 (Spectra) or 16
(Digiplex/DigiplexNE) remote controls without occupying any zones
in the system. Each remote control (OMN-RCT1) is assigned to a
particular user, enabling the receiver to identify who used a
particular remote control and what action was performed. This
information can then be reported to the central monitoring
station. Each button or combination of buttons on the remote
control can be individually programmed to perform one of either 13
(Spectra) or 15 (Digiplex/DigiplexNE) specific actions, such as
arming, disarming, generating panic alarms and activating PGMs.
Auto-Panel Recognition
Omnia works with Spectra (except 1758 and 1758EX), Digiplex
and DigiplexNE systems by detecting which control panel it is
connected to and adjusting its internal parameters to function
accordingly. An industry first, this technology eliminates the
need for different modules for each line. |

OMN-DCT1 Wireless
Door Contact (433MHz)

|
The versatile 433MHz wireless door contact (OMN-DCT1) has two
built-in high-sensitivity reed switches that allow you to place
the door contact either vertically or horizontally.
A switch or a detection device can be connected to the
universal transmitter input terminals in order to provide wireless
transmission of the device's open/close status to the Omnia
Wireless Receiver Module.

Alive software
How do you know if your wireless motion detector is still functioning if
it's in Energy Save Mode? With the Omnia motion detector's exclusive Alive
software, you always know. Its flashing red LED indicates a detection even
when the detector is in Energy Save mode-without compromising battery
life. After transmitting an open zone, the Omnia detector activates its
Energy Save Mode. For the next 5 minutes, the detector does not transmit
any open zones to conserve battery life.
But with Paradox's exclusive Alive software, the motion detector
continues to flash its red LED to indicate a detection without
transmitting an open zone. This means that you always know when Omnia has
detected something and that the detector is still functioning. With Alive, users get continuous detection display with maximum battery
life, something that's especially useful in high-traffic areas.
