MARQUIS line of wireless security products by DSC
900Mhz - Spread Spectrum Technologies

DISCONTINUED

BACK TO DSC EQUIPMENT
BACK TO WIRELESS

MARQUIS product line is a full 900MHz wireless system designed to offer years of reliable maintenance free service, and to adapt to any home or small business application with the highest level of protection

False Alarm Prevention Features

Fully programmable features to prevent false alarms and unnecessary transmissions to the monitoring station include:

  • audible entry/exit delay
  • audible exit fault
  • swinger shut down
  • interior zone with delay
  • opening after alarm code
  • auto-interior bypass
  • fire safety transmission delay
  • fire safety transmission delay
  • AC failure & zone low battery transmission delays
  • 'True Diversity' RF communications

- each transmitter has two paths to the controller
Path 1: directly to the controller
Path 2: to the sounder which relays the signal to the controller.
- only one path has to be open to complete a transmission

  • module placement test mode

- allows installer to carry a keypad to the proposed locations for system modules (siren-repeaters, keypads, detectors) and test communications to the controller before the module is installed. Keypad reports whether proposed location is "good", "fair" or "bad".

  • walk test mode

- allows installer or user to independently test the operation of each detection device without setting off an alarm

  • sounder test mode - tests sounder operation
  • manual dialer test mode

- tests dialer communication to monitoring station
