Exceptional microphone frequency range provides excellent sound capture at low sound volumes and distances of up to 25 ft

Digital Signal; processing analyzes sound in remarkable detail to provide greater detector sensitivity and immunity to false alarms.

Exceptional detection of all common types of  framed glass including: plate, wired, tempered and laminated. In addition, acuity Glassbreak  Detectors also accommodate changes in frame  construction, glass thickness and room acoustics.

Jumper selectable sensitivity range. Level 1 factory set for max. sensitivity over 25';  Level 2 field set for smaller areas with sound reflective surfaces.

New AFT-100 Glassbreak tester and Acuity test mode jumper insure reliable installation and response.

High static and transient protection includes MOV reliable circuitry Acuity™ is a microprocessor based detector using Surface Mount Device (SMD) construction. All DSC products are  manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standards.

INTELLISENSE

FG-1608  HONEYWELL'S  INTELLISENSE  Glassbreak Detector with ValueGap® Magnetic Contact

intellisense gf1608

FlexCoreTM Signal Processor
The FlexCore Signal Processor is an Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), which processes sound data in parallel rather than sequentially; for faster, more accurate detection decisions.
The combination of proven FlexGuard® performance with the speed of FlexCore processing provides unmatched false alarm immunity without compromising detection.

Glassbreak Plus Forced Entry Detection

Glassbreak detection is enhanced by a built-in ValueGap® magnetic contact to monitor the opening of doors and windows. The result is double protection from one sensor.

Selectable Sensitivity
The sensitivity of the FG-1608 may be set to match the acoustics of the room. Two different sensitivity levels are available; low or high. The range can then be verified remotely with the FlexGuard FG-701 Glassbreak Simulator.

Mount the Detector Anywhere
The FG-1608 mounts on any wall, in the window frame, or on the ceiling, with no minimum range and a maximum range of 8’ (2.4 m) to the glass.

Covers All Glass Types
The FG-1608 works on all glass types, including plate, tempered, laminated, wired, film-coated, and sealed insulating glass.

Multiple Domain Signal Analysis
The FG-1608 performs Multiple Domain Signal Analysis in which time, frequency and amplitude characteristics are evaluated for signal qualification. This enables the detector to accurately discriminate false alarms from true glassbreak events.

Two Sensors in One...
ValueGap® Contact
A built-in reed switch and separate actuator magnet provide forced entry protection in addition to glassbreak detection.

Indicator LED
Denotes detection of sound events and alarm condition.

Alarm Memory
Alarm LED can be set to latch upon alarm; helps identify which FG-1608 alarmed in multiple detector applications.

Enclosed PCB
The PCB is protected from potential damage during installation.

Remote Test Mode Enable and Disable
Test mode can be activated remotely with the FG-701 Glassbreak Simulator.

Test Mode Time Out
Automatically resets from test mode in five minutes.

Easy Installation and Set-up
Mount within 8’ (2.4 m) of the glass to be protected. there is no minimum range. Select either low or high sensitivity.
