Alarm systems' design are highly customized and personalized , however there are
strict rules regarding installer qualification , equipment certification , standards
of installation and , if the system is monitored , the Central
Station has to be ULC approved. Any alarm installer must be licensed , bonded and
insured. The products themselves should have appropriate certification CSA (Canadian
Standard Association) and ULC (Underwriter Laboratories of Canada).
If A higher level of
security is required ( usually in commercial systems) , connection with Monitoring Company
could be through a dedicated line
and the installation to have a ULC certification .
To be considered are : runner services ,
a backup system for phone lines ( cellular phones) , a visual device ( strobe light) to
help authorities locating your house and alerting you that an intrusion occurred when you
return.
Open/Close reports
will also be very useful , counting the fact that in 41% of B&E the alarm
system was not activated.

code" AT NO EXTRA COST, SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO REPROGRAM YOUR ALARM SYSTEM IF
YOU WISH .
