i hate to say it but Paradox Digi 70/75 (75 being the latest) have been better then other pet sensors IMO, in my time i've had nothing but f/a's with B6 and will never use them again. i'm not a fan of paradox (lots of faults with their panels) but for what you want to do the digi 75 would be a goer.
: I am preparing to purchase and install a DSC 864 security system using DSC Bravo6 PIR motion detectors. My two-story home has an open staircase going upstairs and downstairs. Given the open floor plan of the home, I was planning to use a motion detector on the middle floor (near the stairway) to detect anyone going up or down the stairs (they are right beside each other). The Bravo6 installation manual tells me not to point them at stairs (I assume this means the pet may set off a false alarm if it makes it way up or down the stairs). Any suggestions? Any other motion detectors I should consider purchases before I buy the Bravo6?
: Thanks for any suggestions.
