do you have eol resistors in the sensors? default, the panel will be looking for 5k6 resistors. up close to the sensors, can you hear the contacts opening and closeing when you move side to side? have you got positive and neg the right way round at the detector? is the led jumper on or off (should be on so you can see the led when you move around)? is there 12vdc at the sensors (using a multimeter)? how have you program the panel inputs/zones? zones 1 and 2 should have some thing from either '01' to '05' and the unused inputs/zones will be either programed as '00' for 'Null zone' or have 5k6 resistors in their place on the panel. when the codepad says secure zones before arming and you go right arrow, what does it say.... zone 1 open or zone 6 open etc?

: Hello, I have a PC5010 with a LCD5500 keypad. I have only two motion connectors hooked up right now with no door contects. I try to arm the system and it always fails stating to close the zones first. I each motion wired up to a seperate zone. Any suggestions why the zones say they are open (btw motion detectors are not picking up any movement when the system is being armed.....so they should be in a closed state

: Thanks

: M
